Top Hidden Features of Android Smartphones
Android smartphones are packed with features that many users aren't aware of. Here are some of the best hidden features that can make your device even more powerful.
1. Split-Screen Mode
Did you know that you can use two apps at once on your Android device? Simply open the apps you want to use, tap the recent apps button, and drag one of the apps to the top of the screen to enable split-screen mode.
2. Quick Access to Notifications
Instead of swiping down from the top of the screen to see your notifications, you can swipe down anywhere on the home screen (if your launcher supports it) to quickly access them.
3. Smart Lock
Android's Smart Lock feature allows you to keep your device unlocked in certain trusted locations, when connected to certain devices, or even when it recognizes your face.
4. One-Handed Mode
If you have a large-screen phone, you might find it difficult to use with one hand. Many Android devices offer a one-handed mode that shrinks the display so you can reach everything with one hand.
5. Pin Apps to the Screen
If you need to hand your phone to someone else but don't want them accessing anything else, you can pin the current app to the screen. Just go to settings, enable app pinning, and pin the app before giving your phone away.
